About Me

With over 15 years of experience working on both formal and informal projects, I’ve developed a strong foundation in project coordination, process improvement, and team collaboration. In 2025, I earned my Project Management Professional® (PMP®) Certification, passing on my first attempt with Above Target in all Domains. In May 2025, I completed a Lean Six Sigma White Belt certification to gain skills in process optimization.

Learner

I have a passion for learning and continuous growth. I’ve completed coursework in business operations, supply chain management, data and marketing analysis, process improvement, and project management—always looking for ways to deepen my understanding and expand my toolkit.

Technology

Technology has long been one of my favorite hobbies. I’ve picked up basic coding skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and Python, and I enjoy audio editing and social media marketing as well. My real interest, however, lies in hardware. I’ve reconfigured and upgraded PCs, configured home networks, and enjoy diving into how computers work—constantly sharpening my tech skills on both the hardware and software sides.

Hobbies

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my dog—we regularly hike and travel to discover new adventures. Music is also a big part of my life: I play the flute and bassoon, and dabble on the piano, oboe, and guitar. I stay active through ballroom dancing and have even completed a few sprint-distance triathlons. Snow skiing is another favorite (though less frequent, thanks to South Carolina’s mild winters!).

Creativity is another outlet for me—I sew many of my own costumes and build custom sets and props for dance showcase routines. And when it’s time to relax, I enjoy logic puzzles like Sudoku and Cryptograms, and I never miss the daily Wordle and Connections.

Volunteering

I’m passionate about giving back and currently volunteer as the director of the ESL program at my church (which also is continually challenging and improving my project management skills). I also contribute regularly to several musical groups and have volunteered with a variety of community organizations over the years.

Life keeps me busy, but I love the variety—and there’s always a new adventure just around the corner.
