Management Appreciation event

What began as a simple idea—renaming our conference rooms to honor company founders and leaders—evolved into a full-scale, top-secret appreciation program for our management team. The initiative turned into a surprise event featuring a professionally produced video montage of employees sharing stories and expressing their appreciation, all revealed during a special business luncheon.

I led coordination across several work streams. For the video, I worked with our internal team and an external videographer to schedule interviews, develop the storyboard, and suggest B-roll content. I was also responsible for reviewing and approving the final cut, all while keeping the project within a tight budget.

In parallel, I partnered with a graphic designer to create custom conference room signage. I defined the scope, provided specifications, and managed the budget for production.

For the luncheon itself, I coordinated logistics including venue selection and booking, menu planning, and managing the guest list—ensuring that all employees, especially managers and their spouses, were properly invited without revealing the surprise. We even found a way to invite corporate leadership under the pretense of celebrating a company-wide achievement.

The event was a success—our management team was genuinely surprised and moved by the video tribute and honored by the renamed rooms. It was a rewarding experience that demonstrated my ability to manage a multi-phase initiative from concept through execution while balancing creativity, confidentiality, and logistics.
